What happens next...
After these materials are received, you will be contacted to set up a Meet & Greet where you and your dog will meet with one or more CAAA members and their dogs. This is your time to find out about the process of becoming a CAAA pet therapy volunteer and to have your dog initially evaluated.
Our goal is to schedule your Meet & Greet as soon as possible. Keep in mind, however, that CAAA's Social Pet Therapy program is 100% administered by volunteers who have their own pet therapy visits, plus work and family time commitments.
Under normal circumstances, you will be contacted in approximately two weeks after your application is received by the appropriate CAAA committee.
Should you have any questions, please call 602 258 3306 and leave your name, telephone number, a good time to reach you, and your question. Your call will be returned as soon as possible.
